I have only just been given the news about your passing, I am deeply saddened, but I am glad you were here for everything to have known you. I will never forget the time I had known you.
I will strive to get over to pay my respects in my own way, rest in peace my friend, sleep tight.

Daddy,
I never really got to know you, and when I had my chance I blew it. I miss you so much, and not a day goes by that i don't think about you. I really wish that I could have had a relationship with you. I always sit and wonder "What If". What if I would have stayed and got to know you, what if i wouldn't have been so selfish. What if i could have had my Dad around. They are all questions that I will never have the answer to now. I'm so sorry for not trying to get to know you when I had the chance. I live with regret everyday.. I want you in my life, but now it's to late. You will always be in my heart Daddy. I will never forget you. I met our family and they told me that out of all your kids, I am the one who turned out most like you. That's what helps me get through the day. The fact that inside and out I will carry you around.. If I had one wish, you would be here with me. Everyday I take an hour out of my day to try and talk to you, hoping that you can hear me. We didn't really know each other, but I am you, through and through. My mother always tells me how much I look like you, it means alot. When I look in the mirror, it's like you're there with me. It's like I know you. When i'm upset or angry, it's you I turn to, to talk to, to try and help me. I feel like you're always with me Daddy. A part of me all my life felt empty, but now it feels complete. I know you're in a better place now, and i can't wait till I get there to see you. There is so much more I want to say to you... But just know that, I love you Dad, and I will never forget you. You will always be with me and in my heart.
